Josh Greenberg, PhD
I am an Associate Professor of Communication Studies in the School of Journalism & Communication at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am also a member of the Advisory Council to the Centre for Voluntary Sector Research and Development, an organized research unit within the School of Public Policy & Administration at Carleton, and am cross-appointed in Carleton’s Department of Sociology & Anthropology. My research expertise and areas of publication reflect my interdisciplinary interests and background. Currently my work focuses on the following topics and themes:

Beyond my teaching and research I am active community-based researcher who has worked in partnership with nonprofits in the anti-poverty, homelessness and public health sectors. I also work in a consultancy capacity as a communications and media strategist – clients have included organizations in the NGO, government and corporate sectors.
