When I was in high school, a very influential teacher (Canadian political history) encouraged me to keep a scrapbook in which to paste newspaper articles and write little margin notes so that at some later point in time I would have a record of the events and ideas I found interesting in my youth. Thanks Mr. VanDuzer.
The Ideas Lab is my scrapbook, 2.0 version. Some of the posts are short, others are long. They all entail some level of commentary and analysis about current issues, events and interests that distract me from life’s more humble and mundane pleasures.
